Dessert Buffets/Sweet Tables

x10-best-dessert-tables-stylish-ideas009.jpg.pagespeed.ic.Mn6Xflb13SA dessert table, also known as a “sweet table”, goes beyond the candy buffets you may have seen at some weddings. Specifically, a dessert table is a collection of highly styled and designed desserts put together in an artful display usually on a table or set up as a “station” in which people can select and sample these sweets.

I love incorporating Sweet Tables into weddings and intimate events to add to the art of decor and bring out the whimsical kid inside all of us.

Here are a few of my favourites:

  1. I absolutely love dessert tables! Such a nice informal and attractive way to treat your guests. By the time dessert comes around, most people are dancing or hanging around the bar. The convenience of dessert tables is that your guests don’t have to sit down and eat a plated dessert – they can just go and pick out what they want, when they want.
I’ll definitely be making a dessert table for my wedding, with macaroons, petits fours, truffles, nougat….hmmmm!
